Honest, straightforward pricing for home-visit veterinary acupuncture and therapeutic laser therapy. Most pets are seen for a single first assessment and treatment, and many go on to a short course of care.
WHAT TO EXPECT
How many sessions will my pet need?
Every pet is different, and the number of sessions needed will depend on your pet's condition, age, comfort level, mobility, medical history, and treatment goals.
Some pets show signs of improvement after the first session, such as moving more comfortably, seeming brighter, resting more deeply, or appearing more relaxed at home. However, for longer-term conditions such as arthritis, chronic pain, stiffness, reduced mobility, or age-related discomfort, the best results are often seen with a course of treatment.
A typical starting plan involves one session per week for four to six weeks, followed by reassessment. After this, some pets move onto maintenance sessions every few weeks, while others may only need occasional support during flare-ups or periods of discomfort.
At the first visit, Dr Tara Card will carry out a full veterinary and mobility assessment, review your pet's medical history, and recommend a treatment plan tailored to your pet's individual needs.
FEES
Our prices
Course packages bring the cost of each session down and are paid in advance. Individual sessions are always available too.
The initial assessment usually lasts approximately 60–90 minutes. It includes medical record review, a full veterinary assessment, mobility assessment, first treatment where appropriate, an individual treatment plan, and communication with your pet's referring veterinary surgeon.
Includes reassessment and acupuncture and/or therapeutic laser therapy as appropriate for your pet's treatment plan.
Includes the initial assessment and first treatment, plus four follow-up sessions. This course is ideal for pets starting treatment for arthritis, chronic pain, stiffness, reduced mobility, or age-related discomfort. Individually, this would cost £290, so the course offers a £15 saving.
Includes the initial assessment and first treatment, plus six follow-up sessions. This course is suited to pets who may benefit from a longer initial course of care and closer monitoring. Individually, this would cost £380, so the course offers a £30 saving.
Suitable for selected cases where a shorter laser therapy session is appropriate as part of an agreed treatment plan.
Payment is required in full at the time of booking, and appointments are not confirmed until payment has been received.
TRAVEL
Travel across the Midlands
We offer home visits across the Midlands. Travel fees are confirmed at the time of booking.
- Prices include travel within 20 miles of our base.
- Visits between 20 and 30 miles may incur a £10 travel fee.
- Visits between 30 and 40 miles may incur a £20 travel fee.
- Visits beyond 40 miles may be possible by arrangement.
